FAMILY PICNIC ON JULY 2, 2011.
I visited my family in Virginia where we celebrated July fourth with my children, grandchildren, siblings, and other relatives.
My family congratulated me on writing a book about our family. They were very supportive and most purchased one for themselves. My brother stated that he had read the book and although somewhat uncomfortable with sharing so much, he believes the information will be helpful to others.
Here is a quote from Living Lessons from page 267: At last I was able to see that life was more than seeing after children, worrying and fretting over them as I had for most of their lives. Now equipped with a newfound sense of wellbeing of working and having my own money, I began seeking an outlet for this new energy.
July 24, 2011- My prayers are for our president and congress as they work with the needs of our country. There are people in congress that are attempting to stop the president from doing his job but there is much unf inished business that we must tackle in order for the country to move into the next level of enlightenment.
July 26, 2011 – Quote from Living Lessons, Introduction: “Observations are about the influence of spirituality, enduring hardship, creativity, laughter, hardwork and the family’s ability to love and forgive as we struggled for our place in a society marked by poverty, ignorance and isolation.”
October 29, 2011 – A book signing event is scheduled for December 4, 2011 at Mystique Boutique, 18123 Dixie Highway, Homewood, Il 60430 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Margaret welcomes members from her church, friends and relatives to attend. They will recieve a message about how she was inspired to write her book, hear how writing the book helped to heal her life and learn some of the important metaphysical principles that she used to reach her goals.
December 9, 2011 – The book signing was a success. The people who attended were very impressed with the setting. Mary, the store’s owner went all out with setting everything up in great fashion. Refreshments were served and people were able to shop for Christmas gifts.
I have also changed some of the key words so that people looking for information on self-help in relationships, careers and historical issues will find that Living Lessons covers these areas fully.
I was recently the guest of the Adult Literacy Program at South Holland College where I was given the pleasure of speaking and selling books.
I am looking forward to a book signing with a book club in Homewood, IL.
